SRK Buys Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge Worth Rs 10 Crore After Pathaan’s Success

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan who has received a lot of praise for his movie ‘Pathaan,’ has bought a swanky car. The actor is popularly known for his passion for cars and owns a stunning collection of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi models.

According to media reports, the most recent car added to the fleet is a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge SUV, which costs more than Rs 10 crore and has numerous attractive features that are customized especially. A video of SRK’s new car has gone widely circulated on social media. A video of an elegant Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge entering Mannat was posted by the actor’s fan page. The vehicle’s signature number plate, “0555,” proved it belonged to King Khan.

The actor was recently marked with driving his new car on the Mumbai streets at night. The exterior of SRK’s new car is painted Arctic White, while the interiors are coated with white leather.

It seems like the enormous success of Pathaan has made the superstar spend lavishly on the luxury SUV. SRK has a list of the best luxury cars, such as a Phantom Drophead Coupe, an electric BMW i8, and a Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Moreover, along with a Hyundai Santro and a Creta, he also has a Mitsubishi Pajero, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a BMW 6-series Convertible.

For those who are unaware, there are actually very few Bollywood stars who own Rolls Royces. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are two of them.

Recently, Shah Rukh has been spotted shielding himself in a car with black curtains to avoid being captured by photographers. The latest luxurious SUV also has black windows, as can be seen in the video posted by the actor’s fan page. This is not the only Rolls-Royce the actor owns. Previously, Shah Rukh also owned a Rolls-Royce Coupe, valued at Rs 7 crore and powered by a 6.8-liter V-12 engine, according to India Today.

Speaking of his movie, “Pathaan,” became one of the recent biggest blockbusters in the Hindi cinema industry, collecting over Rs 1200 crore globally. Following that, Shah Rukh will appear in Atlee’s ‘Dunki’ and ‘Jawan.’ In Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3,’ he too makes a cameo appearance.

Nandita Unveiled The Trailer Of The Upcoming Movie “Zwigato”

Filmmaker and actor Nandita Das and comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma launched the trailer of ‘Zwigito’ at an event in Mumbai on March 1, 2023. At the trailer launch event, Kapil disclosed why Nandita chose him for the film. He said that Nandita once told him even if Shah Rukh Khan had agreed to the film, she won’t take him because it requires a common face that could fit in anywhere in the crowd.

The film portrays the life of a food delivery agent and the struggles he faces on a daily basis. Kapil Sharma played the role of a food delivery agent, and Shahana Goswami played the role of his wife. The film also stars Sayani Gupta and Gul Panag in special roles. Most of the part in the movie was shot and set in Bhubaneswar, the Capital city of Odisha.

Kapil breaks ties with his comic image for this. At the trailer launch event, he shared that he could relate to his character as he used to work at Coca-Cola. When he came to Mumbai for the first time, he did odd jobs here and there. The product was transported in trucks. There were no apps then. So when Nandita told him about the hardships faced by the delivery men, he could relate his past to that story a lot.

In December 2022, the film was screened at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). It was world premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Its Asian premiere was held at the Busan International Film Festival. It is scheduled to release across India on March 17.

Day 28: Pathaan box office collection crosses Rs 1000 crore

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan gains enormous success at the box office. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, this spy-thriller movie crossed Rs. 1000 crore worldwide on 21st February since its release. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham and is slowly moving towards becoming the top Hindi language film in India. They played together for the first time in the film. The movie was released on 25th January 2023, along with the dubbed versions.

In the film, Shah Rukh Khan is played as Pathaan, a RAW field agent, and Salman Khan play an explosive cameo role. The music was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, while Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara composed the score.

Pathaan is still running strongly in theatres in the fourth week of release. It is now chasing several huge collecting movies such as Dangal, The Kashmir Files, KGF: Chapter 2, and many others. It carries fifth position among Indian films crossing the Rs 1000 cr mark worldwide after Dangal (Rs 1968.03 cr), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1747 cr), KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 1188 cr), and finally RRR (Rs 1174 cr).

Even the film remains unaffected with the newly released Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada and Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. However, the Marvel film still managed to hold its ground; Shehzada has only managed to collect Rs 22 crore in four days.

Box Office Worldwide has also shared the collection figures: Week1: 351 cr, Week2: 91.50 cr, Week3: 46.65 cr, Week 4 continuing Day 24: 2.15 cr, Day 25: 3.25 cr, Day 26: 4.15 cr, then Day 27: 1.20 cr, and after Day 28: 1.10 cr. So, the Domestic Nett is 500.05 cr, Domestic Gross 625 cr, Overseas 378 cr, and  Worldwide Gross 1003 cr.

 

Despite the protest and demand to boycott the film, Pathaan becomes the highest-grossing Indian film in 2023 till now.
