Satish Kaushik’s Daughter Deletes Instagram Account After Actor’s Death

On March 8, the actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away due to cardiac arrest. The next day, his body was returned to Mumbai after post mortem. Then in that evening, his final rites were carried out at the Versova crematorium.  After the funeral, his 10-year-old daughter Vanshika posted a selfie of herself cuddling her father.

Vanshika Kaushik posted an old photo of herself and Satish on Thursday night. The father and daughter were sharing a hug and posing for the camera. Instead of a caption, Vanshika simply put a red heart emoji to the Instagram post.

In the comments portion of her post, Vanshika received condolence messages from the actor’s followers. One fan commented, “Your father will always be with you and will be keeping an eye on you. He will always be with you in your heart and memories dear. Hugs and a lot of love to you.” while another fan wrote, “Be strong and take care of your mom,”

However, just less than a week passed after Satish Kaushik’s death, his daughter Vanshika closed her Instagram account. The account page named @vanshika_kaesthetic no longer exists on Instagram.

In 1985, Satish and Shashi Kaushik got married. Sanu Kaushik, their two-year-old son, expired in 1996. Vanshika was their second child, born in 2012 through surrogacy.

On social media, the actor used to be highly active and regularly shared updates about his personal and professional lives. He shared videos and photos with his family as well as pics of his work activities. Satish had posted in January about a Sunday family outing to the outskirts of Mumbai. He had also shared, “Sunday trip to one of Karjat’s lovely oleander fields with Shashi and Vanshika. Vanshika had a lovely day playing in the Let’s Play Adventure Park on the same farm during her delicious lunch at Saltt restaurant.”

In January, he appeared in the Chhatriwali movie on Zee5. He finished shooting his role as the politician Jagjivan Ram for Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. Kaagaz 2, his next project as a director, is almost nearly finished, a sequel to the 2012 film Kaagaz.
