Satish Kaushik’s Daughter Vanshika Makes Her First Reel With Anupam Kher

Vanshika Kaushik, the late actor Satish Kaushik’s daughter, created her first reel alongside Anupam Kher, her father’s close friend, and guardian. Vanshika posted a video of herself and Kher dancing to Gabriela Richardson’s Yall from Hundred Miles on Friday.

Kher followed Vanshika as she began dancing to the music, but he appeared not as confident as Vanshika. The nine-year-old daughter showed the clip, recalled her father, and compared him to Anupam Kher as a ‘better dancer.’ My first reel with the one and only #Anupam uncle, he really needs to rehearse a little more, as compared to him, papa was a better dancer, but thank u Anupam uncle for trying, love u’, she wrote.

Several fans got emotional and responded to the video as soon as Vanshika shared it. One user commented, “God bless you Anupam sir ….. you are a true friend…. I am sure Satish sir would be happy seeing both of you.” A netizen wrote, “God aisa dost har kisiko de.” Many stars also reacted. Hrithik Roshan wrote, “Haha sweet.” Anirudh Dave wrote, “Stay blessed bachcha.” Aditi Singh Sharma wrote, “How cute is this.”

Earlier this week, on the occasion of Satish Kaushik’s birth anniversary, Anupam conducted a special event. Anupam Kher organised a musical night Satish Kaushik Night to commemorate the late actor’s 67th birthday. During the ceremony, Kher revealed that he had a conversation just before few hours his death. He also shared a poem written by Vanshika for her father after his death.

Anupam and Anil Kapoor were spotted crying too much as they remembered their deceased friend. Several Bollywood stars, including Neena Gupta and Shabana Azmi, shared their untold stories with Satish. Along with them, other stars such as Subhash Ghai and Rani Mukerji were also present at the occasion.

Anupam and other friends of Satish promised Satish’s wife, Shashi, and their daughter Vanshika that they would always be there for them. Anupam also urged Vanshika to assure him that she would call him every evening.

In 2012, Satish Kaushik and his wife Shashi welcomed Vanshika into the world via surrogacy. Their son died when he was only two years old.

On March 9, 2023, Satish Kaushik experienced cardiac arrest and died. He was 66. His funeral took place in Mumbai.

On March 8, the actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away due to cardiac arrest. The next day, his body was returned to Mumbai after post mortem. Then in that evening, his final rites were carried out at the Versova crematorium.  After the funeral, his 10-year-old daughter Vanshika posted a selfie of herself cuddling her father.

Vanshika Kaushik posted an old photo of herself and Satish on Thursday night. The father and daughter were sharing a hug and posing for the camera. Instead of a caption, Vanshika simply put a red heart emoji to the Instagram post.

In the comments portion of her post, Vanshika received condolence messages from the actor’s followers. One fan commented, “Your father will always be with you and will be keeping an eye on you. He will always be with you in your heart and memories dear. Hugs and a lot of love to you.” while another fan wrote, “Be strong and take care of your mom,”

However, just less than a week passed after Satish Kaushik’s death, his daughter Vanshika closed her Instagram account. The account page named @vanshika_kaesthetic no longer exists on Instagram.

In 1985, Satish and Shashi Kaushik got married. Sanu Kaushik, their two-year-old son, expired in 1996. Vanshika was their second child, born in 2012 through surrogacy.

On social media, the actor used to be highly active and regularly shared updates about his personal and professional lives. He shared videos and photos with his family as well as pics of his work activities. Satish had posted in January about a Sunday family outing to the outskirts of Mumbai. He had also shared, “Sunday trip to one of Karjat’s lovely oleander fields with Shashi and Vanshika. Vanshika had a lovely day playing in the Let’s Play Adventure Park on the same farm during her delicious lunch at Saltt restaurant.”

In January, he appeared in the Chhatriwali movie on Zee5. He finished shooting his role as the politician Jagjivan Ram for Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. Kaagaz 2, his next project as a director, is almost nearly finished, a sequel to the 2012 film Kaagaz.
