The next thing would be is to get a list of all the other people who came to this Air BNB home then ransack their homes as well. An eye for an eye. These kids need to be taught some tough lessons. They need to be beat to shit by sticks and belts. Otherwise they will never learn and never be good contributors to society. Reply January 11, 2019 Jack Mison Why are they talking about insurance? WHOEVER RENTED OUT THE HOUSE AND TRASHED IT SHOULD PAY. Reply January 11, 2019 Louis Adams Airbnb is such an experience for those who travel and it just takes a corrupt few to destroy for the rest. Those individuals all should be held liable. Reply January 11, 2019 Phu Nguyen this is why a security deposit is required. if there are damages, you use that deposit to pay for the repair. the customer will not want to cause damage, because that makes the deposit non-refundable. / basic rules in renting. Reply January 11, 2019 Patrick McAsey What sane person would rent out their own home on Airbnb? What sane person would want to have no control over strangers coming into their property? I'm sorry, but I've got little sympathy for this woman. Reply January 11, 2019 munib1000 I wouldn't touch anything in that house. Gay orgy Reply January 11, 2019 Why Me? This is awful, Airbnb is more trouble than it’s worth Reply January 11, 2019 WeeStrom CO Guy I'm sure she was heart broken! Really sad how people can be so heartless and utterly disrespectful of someone else's hard work and personal belongings. Seems like such a nice lady too. 🙁 Reply January 11, 2019 LA Turley First, I want to say that I really hope this doesn't take too long for her to repair and return to business. It's never a good idea to put items with sentimental value in a business. Second, I love this story. Everyone involved seems so nice. Meeting these types of people in their smaller communities is the reason I've preferred using airbnb. Really, why travel somewhere if you cannot experience what it's like to live there? Where I am there are loads of properties that are renting out their homes to young drunken yobs. A property near me had loads of guests and they had a drunken, loud party till 5am. Security had to come out. Young people behaving like animals. Reply January 11, 2019 Wisepersonsay Why is it most the time Airbnb hosts are Chinese and Jewish? They both love to make extra money quickly and easily. I never go for Airbnb. There are a lot better accommodation provider. Guests are left alone in a totally strange city and environment. Security and safety are not always good. Some area Airbnb operates is a dangerous deteriorated area of a town. Airbnb should be boycotted. Reply January 11, 2019 Lesbian Amazon Sister Air B&B is not a good idea at all!Use hotels, they afford you more legal standing and safety than the scam that is Air B&B. Reply January 11, 2019 Piri Gonzalez Peace of mind is the best. I don't care about extra money. Peace of mind = priceless Reply January 11, 2019 damsel In a dress My nephew travels a lot and was using Airbnb in New York City. It was great money too. That is until he had a guest that brought bed bugs! He had to throw out brand new furniture he'd just purchased and have the place exterminated. He learned his lesson. Reply January 11, 2019 Elena Arman-Tang Daaaamn they trashed her house, stole heirlooms, her TV and God knows what else 😵😵😵 Reply January 11, 2019 Mrs. Smith I am an Airbnb host. This kind of damage is not unusual, particularly if you live separately from guests. I've even seen it – and more – even while I was home. When people get a cheap place to stay, they don't always behave. What they DIDN'T include was sexual harassment, treating you like a servant, insulting you personally in your own home, and stalking. Most of the damage you see here is reparable if you know how. The damage caused by a total stranger fondling your leg is quite another. Having said all that, I would be dishonest if I did not add that 95% of my guests are top drawer. They are friendly, clean and helpful. It's the 5% that kills it for us.
