Today russian school books about XX century only say how "terrifing and horrible" was Soviet government from 1917 to 1985. Why western leaders? Thanks to them, people forgot about the Polish suffering and now less people believe what happened to us, painting us as Nazi-friends as Jewish ppl do too, those ex pro-Bolsheviks, who were against Poland reappearing on the maps after 123 yrs of absence! I will continue with my life and afterwards, I will find these few evil souls together with my ancestors and do harm to them for making us suffer.“ Reply November 18, 2019 Socialist Azania Viva Stalin Reply November 18, 2019 Gentry Splain he was very friendly man with hearty laugh and big heart Reply November 18, 2019 Today Tomorrow and After They should ask what Russians think about Nicholas II Reply November 18, 2019 Socialism ASAP Repressions and party purges of fascist and capitalist and their allies. Reply November 18, 2019 F5Storm1 While Stalin did some terrible things to his own Russian people, he did help defeat Hitler along side America, so as an American I do greatly respect him for that part, i do not like how he murder innocent Russian citizens Reply November 18, 2019 Shawn Koo Ironic because his ruthless dictatorship including mass liquidation of high ranking officers and intellects out of fear, was the reason why Russia struggled in the beginning of the WWII. Result would've been better and more swift if it wasn't Stalin. Reply November 18, 2019 Alexander Chokin I’m a Russian and Stalin wasn’t a good leader. My great grandfather (born in 1899) was a rich man but when Stalin became the leader, he made my great grandfather a poor civilian (took away most of the money) and took away even his house. Then my great grandfather was sent to the middle of Kazakhstan near Karaganda to a small house when he already had eleven kids. Then when Stalin died my family was very happy. Unfortunately, my great grandfather died in 1961, aged only 62. Reply November 18, 2019 David Calixtro Stalin did well to transform the USSR in a world power country, in all terms, but the most bad thing that he do was genocide o purge to the russian and east Europe people. Paranoid Stalin also responsible for thous Russian soldiers captured, deaths, initial days of war, because he would not accept Churchills warning. He thought decadent West trying to trick him. God honors those nations and indiv that honor Him. Russian govt went atheistic, repressive of Christianity in 1917, and paid a terrible price in WW11, w/ millions soldier/civilian deaths, and devastation. Stalin did cooperate w/ Western Allies to defeat Nazis. It was the sacrifices of the nation of .people and soldiers.
