The tech giant also asserted that WhatsApp loads more quickly on the new Windows desktop. Moreover, users of Windows and WhatsApp can be easily acquainted with the application’s interface.

The company also claimed that it had included new features like link previews and stickers, as well as faster device linking and better device syncing.

Meta said that these limitations would be lifted over time to ensure that users remained able to utilize WhatsApp to connect with their friends, family, and coworkers.

According to the Zuckerberg-led Meta, the Mac desktop version of WhatsApp, which is presently in beta, will be released.

WhatsApp is also expanding compatibility on more devices. The company has recently released a new WhatsApp beta version for Android tablets.

The tech company also introduced two new improvements to WhatsApp’s Groups feature earlier this week. These included enhanced admin controls and a feature that makes it simple for users to view groups they have in common.
