Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, who is an inspiration for all fitness enthusiasts, recently shared news about herself that shocked her fans. On March 2, in her Instagram post, she posted that she had suffered a heart attack a few days back. She had to do an angioplasty also. However, she is now fine.
She was very active on Instagram. But she was inactive for a while, which worried her fan. Just five days back, she penned a note on the Instagram post informing her fans that she is ‘slightly under the weather.’
In her post, she mentioned that everything is behind you!!!! Aah! The simplicity of life!!!

Apart from her current disease, she had a severe medical history as well. In 2014, in an interview, Sushmita disclosed that she was diagnosed with a severe health problem. It was a life-threatening hormonal disease. Due to taking steroids, she faced severe side effects. Her face at that time looked like a moon face due to the steroid deposit. Even for that, she got high blood pressure and loss of bone density.
Sushmita Sen is well known for acting in films like Main Hoon Na, Biwi No. 1, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, Do Not Disturb, No Problem, and Tumko Na Bhool Payenge. With the International Emmy-nominated series Aarya, She made her acting comeback and also starred in the show’s second installment. She will be seen soon in the third season of the series.
Sushmita Sen adopted two daughters and raised them as a single mom. She adopted Renee in 2000, while Alisha joined her family in 2010. Even Renee made her acting debut with a short film, Suttabaazi.
