SP candidate detained for violating model code of conduct

Samajwadi Party candidate has been detained for violating model code of conduct by bringing out a procession with loud audio system and DJ system within the city with out prior permission, officer stated. An FIR has been lodged in opposition to SP candidate Rashid Malik for violating part 144 and the norms of model code of conduct beneath varied sections of the IPC, Returning officer of Loni constituency Prem Ranjan stated.

He stated that with out prior permission Malik introduced out a procession with loud audio system and DJ system within the city. Ranjan stated that part 144 CrPC is already in existence within the district.

Malik and his shut associates Ummed Pahalwan and Ahsan Ali had been detained and had been stored in Tronica metropolis police station. Later,Malik and Pahelwan had been launched on private bonds of 5 lakh rupees every and Ahsan was launched on private bond of an quantity of Rs 50,000.

The procession had blocked Delhi-Saharanpur freeway and was restored after a protracted train, RO added.
