“I had called hunderds of meetings at New Delhi and Bhubaneswar for construction of much-needed over bridge in Tangi area. Despite being the leader of the Opposition party, Prakash supported me to rake up several issues concerning the development of various infrastructure projects in the segment. But the State government under the ruling-BJD to which I also belonged, created roadblocks to stall the projects,” Panda mentioned.

“When I represented Kendrapara, the first ever railway line was laid in the district, but after so many years it is not yet functional. As far as the delay of projects is concerned, most of the issues were because of the ruling-BJD and not due to the Centre,” Panda added.
