Bhubaneswar: Members of the cooperative society employees’ affiliation gheraoed Cooperation Minister SN Patro’s residence at present demanding success of a number of calls for.
The cooperative society employees are demanding success of a 7-point constitution of calls for which incorporates regularization of jobs, an administrative fund for Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and amongst others. The employees have threatened to dam the KALIA scheme of the federal government if their calls for should not fulfilled.
General secretary of the affiliation, Digamber Naik mentioned “Though the agitation is continuing and discussions are on with various government authorities, no headway has been made. While the State Government has announced the KALIA scheme which will be implemented by the cooperative society employees; if our demands are not fulfilled, we will not provide our support in implementation.”
