3 trains to be cancelled for railway safety work | Bhubaneswar News


BHUBANESWAR: Three long-distance trains will be cancelled for a number of days throughout third and fourth week of this month in view of safety-related modernisation work for rail and sign hyperlink at Sone Nagar railway station in Mughalsarai railway division beneath East Central Railway jurisdiction.

Two main trains can even be diverted in different routes for this work, a railway supply stated.

Sambalpur-Varanasi-Sambalpur weekly twice specific (18311/18312) leaving Sambalpur will be cancelled from January 16 and 27. Its pair prepare from Varanasi can even stay cancelled between January 14 and 24.

Puri-Anand Vihar Terminus (Delhi) Neelachal Express (12875/12876) beginning its journey from Puri on January 18, 20, 22 and 25 will be cancelled. Similarly its pair prepare from Anand Vihar will stay cancelled on January 18, 20, 22 and 27.

Puri-Anand Vihar Terminus (Delhi) Nandankanan Express (12815/12816) departing from Puri on January 16 and 23 and from Anand Vihar on January 24 will stay cancelled.

But the Nandankanan Express leaving Puri on January 17, 19, 21, 24 and 26 and from Anand Vihar on January 17, 19, 21, 23 and 26 will run on diverted route by way of Muri-Barkakana-Garwa Road and Chunar, bypassing Gomoh-Gaya and Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay stations.

The Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express (12801/12802) will run on diverted route of Nandankanan Express from each the instructions between January 16 and 26.

Passengers will face difficulties in getting confirmed seats in different Delhi-bound trains due to the cancellations of those long-distance trains, a railway official stated. People from western Odisha, travelling to Varanasi or north Indian cities, might face drawback.
